Company Overview

Polariod Enterprise Co., Ltd., established in 2006, operates as a subsidiary of Yiea Sheng Industry Group. The company is based in Dadu District, Taichung City, and specializes in the production and manufacturing of PP Plastic Corrugated Board. With advanced corrugated board production lines, Polariod offers products with thicknesses ranging from 1.8mm to 10mm. These boards are known for their high quality, waterproof properties, resistance to high pressure and impact, as well as pharmaceutical and oil resistance. Additional features include effective sound and heat insulation, and durability for repeated use.

Group Background
#

Yiea Sheng Industry Group, the parent company, was founded in 1979 and has accumulated over 30 years of expertise in professional plastics manufacturing in Taiwan. The main facility is located in Taichung Industrial Park, covering a total floor area of 2,376 square meters. The group primarily produces PE plastic board, PE foam board, PP plastic board, and PP 3-layer foam board.

Expansion and Global Presence
#

In 1993, the group expanded into the stationery sector in Guangdong, China, establishing the Jia De Plastic Manufactory. This facility spanned 16,000 square meters and employed over 1,000 staff, equipped with 18 PP extrusion machines and 200 processing units, enabling the production of complete finished PP plastic stationery. Products from this facility have been exported to Japan, North and South America, Europe, Australia, and other regions.

Responding to the ASEAN Economic Community (ACE) and the global market opportunities presented by the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the company relocated its production lines from China to Vietnam in 2010, establishing a fourth plastic industrial factory with a plant area exceeding 11,000 square meters. Concurrently, the China operation was restructured into a Raw Material Purchase Center, and the second factory was expanded for the Powder Metallurgy Technology Company, an investment since 2005.

In 2015, two new product departments were established, focusing on PET and PS Thermoforming. All processes, from product design and tooling development to sheet extrusion and thermoforming, are managed in-house.

Product Features and Applications

PP Plastic Board is manufactured from high-purity polypropylene, a non-toxic, flammable, recyclable, and environmentally friendly hydrocarbon. The boards are flat, lightweight, and impact-resistant, making them suitable for a wide range of applications, including:

Packaging containers
Display boards
Commodities
Stationery supplies
Building material protective sheets
Buffer plates
DIY creative projects

These boards are compatible with traditional paper processing techniques such as grooving, cutting, slitting, and nailing, as well as plastic processing machinery like ultrasonic welding and riveting.
